Does anyone know how to easily retrieve a broken RCA pivot that is snapped-off (flush) on my Sub-in jack on my Servo-15? My married woman was moving my sub, while I was out of town on concern, final week. I merely discovered this and I'm pissed. Do I have to remove the amp console, and if I do am I able to push the broken pivot out from the other side? Assist!!!

Sorry to hear that, man!
I would effort and remove it from behind first, if there is access to stick something minor to button it out with. Delight be conscientious!!!! I don't know what electrical precautions y'all need to take beyond unplugging it.
Otherwise, befriend your dentist. If I couldn't get it out from behind, I'd drill a tiny hole into the eye of the pin, thread a tiny spiral, and try pulling it out.
Or, just have the RCA jack replaced. Good luck.

Either selection up a screw extraction tool set at a local hardware or automotive shop, or advisedly drill a pigsty and thread a spiral in similar Ryan said.
I'd unplug it and leave it unplugged for a while so the caps can driblet their charge before working on information technology.

That'due south dauntless! What if she said, "Too bad. Guess you lot're not using a sub for while"? Then next day you become it fixed and have it up and running once more.
"Merely I idea you said it couldn't be fixed?"
"Uh......."

It really should not be that hard to remove. Use a long minor screw, threading information technology into the cleaved pin. One time you lot become a bite, pull it out. You lot should be able to become it out far enough to use needle olfactory organ pliers to get it the residuum of the manner out.

I know this is a v twelvemonth former thread, simply in my contempo Google search on how to fix this, well this thread was like number one (With a scrap of a difficult solution).
******So FOR EVERYONE WHO Notwithstanding HAS THIS Problem Here IS A QUICK AND Piece of cake SOLUTION******
Removing Broken Pin from an RCA Jack I recieved a costless, working Tv the other 24-hour interval. The only problem with it was the pin from an RCA video cable had broken off inside the socket. I didn't want to spend money on an RF modulator for my DVD Player, so I figured out a pretty solid style of getting the pivot out.
1.) Find a needle
two.) On a difficult surface, bend the very tip of the needle slightly and then that it forms a tiny barb.
3.) estrus the tip of the needle with a lighter until information technology glows cherry-red hot.
iv.) stick the needle into the plastic core of the cleaved RCA pin
5.) wait a few seconds for information technology to cool
6.) pull the needle out, and the broken tip should follow!
Also this did work for me I used it on an RCA Wall Jack.
This was non my thought, original solution came from this website link! Giving credit where credit is due.
